Arjun Gupte

I am a Junior at Purdue University pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering with concentrations in AI/ML and Computer Systems.

I am a Research Assistant at the Purdue Smart Machine and Assistive Robotics Technology (SMART) Lab, advised by Dr. Byung-Cheol Min. My current research focuses on Preference-based Reinforcement Learning to enhance human-robot collaboration. I am also part of the Purdue Pre-Trained Models in Deep Learning (PTM-DL) Research Team, advised by Dr. James Davis. My research explores optimizing application-level software for greater energy efficiency using LLMs.

My core interest is in developing AI systems that can truly interact with and assist humans at a personalized level. I aspire to design and build great products and contribute to a future where digital and embodied AI agents are deeply integrated into society, helping humans live safer, more productive, and enjoyable lives.
